The essence behind our Wiser Pasifika Communities logo
Our logo was inspired by a talanoa (conversation) with our management group. We liked the idea of the 'Laulau - or the Table' having 4 legs. These 4 legs represent the 4 areas we will focus on: 1. Early Childhood, 2. Youth Services, 3. Elderly Community, 4. Events.
The laulau acts as a significant place for our people to gather, here meetings are discussed and where food is shared with our aiga. The blue represents us as people of the sea. The letter P is in the shape of the fue' representing that every voice has a right to be heard. Samoan motifs proudly adorn our logo with the pua or the frangipani encircling our Wiser Pasifika paying homage to the strong Pasifika women who have started this organisation, who are also the backbone of the aiga in their families.
